So happy to have found your newsletter! Thanks for the good info and honest peek into your experience. I chuckled at the Venn diagram because I immediately imagined my “people want to buy” dot as a lonely island, way out to sea. Haha. It’s a good reminder to think critically and strategically about where we place our time and effort.

Thanks so much Louie, it really is. But I think as creatives it's important we all know it's ok to think about money and think a little bit 'businessy'. It's the best way to ensure we get to do these awesome jobs for as long as possible.

Yes! It might be an enjoyable job but it's still a job, so thinking strategically is inportant. Some people luck into finding that intersection right away so perhaps don't have to consciously work it out, but i reckon most of us have to do that thinking!
