Gosh its still October, can you believe it? Just a quick one this week as I seem to have taken a wrong turn and have found myself lost and alone in a terrifying place known as ‘deadline city’ once again. So I thought I would just do a little check in and see how things are going. Did you choose to do any # ‘tober art challenges? How are you getting on? Have you completed it everyday? Are you behind but just about holding on? Or have you packed it in? Wherever you’re at with it, know that it’s ok to have a break if you need it, or to stop completely. Or to have not even managed to start yet. That’s ok too. I had big plans of trying at least one #inktober prompt this year and I didn’t manage that… bit I feel ok about it. There’s always Folktale Week, after all! Remember, you make the rules for your art. These challenges are great for inspiration but only you know your schedule and your goals. Be kind to yourself.

So next week’s newsletter will be my last on the topic of art challenges. If there’s anything you’d like to ask or would like me to talk about next month, feel free to comment here or send me a message on Instagram or Twitter. Until then, Happy Halloween!

I’m looking forward to folktale week, my next book is a fairytale, (of sorts) so this is ‘research’, as for October, I’ll do one stinktober prompt! Enjoyed your series looking forward to what’s next:)
